Brief History

City Harvest Assembly of God Church is a Full Gospel Assemblies of God Church located at the Silicon Valley, also called the Garden City of India, Bangalore. God is using CHAG to penetrate into the unreached people groups and ethnic groups in and around the city.

We began in the year 2003 as part of a vision God gave to its founder and senior pastor, Rev. Shine Thomas. It started with his family of 3 (wife Glory & son Samuel) but over the years the church experienced a great harvest and grew to the present situation. Now because of the divine call of God, Rev. Shine has left his secular job and is doing full-time ministry in the Lord’s vineyard.

Rev. Shine has been faithful, prayerful and purposeful in guiding the congregation through God's vision for City Harvest AG Church. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Shine has sought to bring progressive leadership and spiritual enlightenment to his flock. The congregation's membership has grown significantly in souls and maturity since 2003.

CHAG is impacting the city of Bangalore for the glory of God across different language groups through signs, wonders, vibrant worship, and perfect teaching from the Word of God. We are all so excited to be in this church which is on fire and passionate about our Lord Jesus.

Vibrant Worship Experience

Worship is an important ingredient in a living relationship with God. Miracles and wonders happen at our regular worship services. We have worship services in English, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, & Telugu.

We are living in a generation where the Word of God is nullified and more importance is given to the gifts of the spirit. At CHAG we give great emphasis on preaching the Word of God in balance with the movement of the Holy Spirit, giving equal importance to both Word and the Spirit.

Children’s Church

We have a parallel Children’s Church and Sunday School where our children have systematic bible teaching and fun.

Our trained volunteers provide the perfect atmosphere for your children while you devote your full attention to the service without any disturbance.
