City Harvest AG Church, Bangalore has taken up a mission project to support God’s work in North Karnataka. We plan to start by supporting 3 needy and poor churches in Davangere and Chickabalapur districts of Karnataka. The motto of our mission is to take the gospel to the unreached places of Karnataka & India through what God is doing here at City Harvest AG Church, Bangalore.

CHAG Mission Trip - Davangere, Karnataka

Mision Project Completed

As per God’s guidance we took up mission work in North Karnataka to support pastors and churches. On May 10, 2010, we went for a mission trip to North Karnataka. We gathered pastors and their families from 4 districts of North Karnataka. The meeting was a great encouragement for the pastors and families. We commend the church members who voluntarily participated in this mission with your prayers, finances, & material items for this mission trip. May God bless you!

Upcoming Mission Project - Tumkur, Karnataka

The church is planning to take a mission trip to North Karnataka where our mission support is already in place. As you know ministry in North Karnataka is very difficult we would like to support the pastors and families on this mission trip. We are planning to conduct a meeting for all the pastors of Tumkur district of Karnataka. We plan to assemble them in Tumkur for a one-day seminar. These pastors are working in remote villages with a lot of opposition. Please pray and support for this mission trip.

Christmas Every Home

Mission Completed

Purpose: Christmas Every Home is a program to help every family who is poor and below poverty line to enjoy a good Christmas meal. City Harvest AG Church has identified many families mainly in our Tamil & Kannada congregation who are facing financial difficulties. The church is planning to distribute pulses for these families in the time of Christmas to that they too can enjoy a good Christmas meal while others in the church do.

List of items for every poor family are as follows: 10 kg Sona Masuri rice, 2 kg sugar, 1 kg Sunflower refined oil, and 1 kg Tur dal. Total grant for one family is Rs. 515. The items will be given as food packets, not in cash.

Report: With your generous support we could support 18 families with the above said items. Further, the church gave a good Christmas meal to Phoebe Girls Home (50 girls). The church also sponsored for a pair of footwear each for 18 girls from Home of Hope. All these girls are either orphans, semi-orphans, or from very poor families. The happiness and gratitude shown by each recipient was testimony enough of how valuable every contribution of yours meant to them. We thank you all for your valuable support for this mission. Your generosity has helped many poor families have a good meal. As of January 31, 2010 this mission is completed.
