    The Bible is the living Word of God and all through the Bible it speaks of the blood of Jesus. The early church understood the blood. All through the Acts of the Apostles they preached the same message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They understood that His death and the provision of “covering by the blood” was the essential ingredient of the Gospel. Jesus shed his blood for us so that we can be covered by the blood of Jesus.     God created us with an appetite which is essential for our physical survival. No one can survive without food. When we are hungry we eat, after sometime we are hungry and we eat again, and the cycle goes on and we survive. Do you know that God has also created within our hearts a hunger that is spiritual?
